Fantastic quality quiet great cables
-Comes with plenty of cables that were long enough to work with my full size/workstation size case. I was able to use 4 individual gpu cables to power my dual video cards. -The box says 10 year warranty. -Looking into the Power Supply i see a mix of electrolytic (Corsair says 105C rated) and solid state capacitors. -Fan stays off and quiet until needed. -The sytem i put this Power Supply in had a Corsair 850 watt PS that ran warm under load. This 1200 watt ran nice and cool under load. -Voltage readings under load were steady; 5V= 5.056V, 12V= 12.033V.
High build quality. Excellent packing and included accessories. I was not expecting to see braided cables, velcro strips, or cable combs included.
For the price this is hands down one of the best power supply units I have seen! Literally came out within the past year. So has all the needed features for future compatibility plus has 220% power excursion. The 5v boost feature is an overclockers dream for stability while pushing the limits. The hipower 12v cord with the green tip to make sure its plugged in all the way with the sensors to make sure your not overheating is the chef's kiss for this unit!! I'm in love. Been an Asus Strix fanboy for a long time and I recently switched to Asrock products and I have not been disappointed yet! PSU, GPU, motherboard all work like butter.. but this power supply is the bee's knees without question i recommend to anyone upgrading or just looking to build a pc. You wont regret the purchase!
Decent amount of cable options 80+ gold Smallish size Affordable
Small form factor 850 watts. Quiet works.
I gave this five stars because of the excellent quality and craftsmanship. One of the first things I noticed was how light this power supply was compared to the old days when they were big and heavy. A lot people complain about the fan noise on the 1000wt but this 1200 wt is relatively quiet in my PC.
Liked the cables.
everything about this psu is a plus. detachable usb hub, longer cables and there are many. easy to clean
- 850W. - Great for Game ATX Full or Mid Towers.
Now I have only had this Power Supply for a little while but is is working great. The best part about this is the fact that the modular plugs go out the side instead of the opposite side or back. This makes setup easier and if needed adding or replacing power cables a breeze.
- Neat - Clean - Worked - Installed EASILY! - Perfect for a Semi-Modular!
it did work very well. 5 years warrenty and 80 plus Bronze
Lot's of options Looks great!
These power supplies are always great for me. I have used many other Corsair models with no problems. The modular cables make it super easy to organize and hide them inside your case if you wish to do so. You only plug in the ones you need so it makes it very neat. This power supply is 850W so it should handle any hardware you hook it to. It's also 80 PLUS GOLD certified which essentially means you are guaranteed over 80% effeciency (more like 87%+ actually). Higher effency power supplies are beneficial because less power is wasted and converted into heat. This means you have less power wasted which in turn translates to operational benefits. Please note this has side connectors instead of your typical rear connectors. This is a fully modular / low noise / energy efficient power supply that's also 850W. It also has a 140mm "Zero RPM Fan Mode" which provides almost silent operations while at lower loads. It should also fit into any standard size PC case. Obviously check your dimensions with the specs to be sure. It's a little heavy at almost 4lbs but that shouldn't be an issue as most of our gaming PC's aren't portable. :) It also comes with a *10* year warranty! That along is an amazing thing for them to offer. Most electronics are rated for around 5 years so for them to offer 10 years tells you that they stand behind their products. I have owned many Corsair products in my life and have yet to be disappointed with one. It comes with the following connections: 1x 24-pin ATX (24-pin) 2x ATX 12V/EPS12V (4+4-pin) 1x PCIe 5 (12+4-pin) 2x PCIe (6+2-pin, dual) 2x PCIe (6+2-pin) 12x SATA (Straight) 8x PATA These connections are from the following cables: 1x 24-pin ATX (24-pin): One cable (610mm) 2x EPS/ATX12V CABLE 8-PIN (4+4): Two cables (650mm) 1x PCIe CABLE 12+4-PIN(12+4): One cable (650mm) 1x PCIe CABLE 8-PIN (6+2)X2: One cable (650mm+100mm) 2x PCIe CABLE 8-PIN (6+2): Two cables (650mm) 3x SATA CABLE (4 SATA - (right angle)): Three cables (455mm + 115mm + 115mm + 115mm) 2x PATA CABLE (4-PIN): Two cables (450mm + 100mm + 100mm + 100mm)
Very easy install. The motherboard cable has 1 unique plug and the rest are identical. Silent. Excellent build quality. I do like having the option of turning the fan off
- Solid build quality - Nice aesthetics, particularly if you're going for a white build with the SL-850GW - Good cable quality, with plenty of CPU/PCIe connectors & cables - ATX 3.1 & PCIe 5.1 ready - Solid 80 Plus Gold, Cybenetics Platinum rating (and Cybenetics A+ rating for noise) - 10 Year Warranty
Affordable, modular, great cables, easy to install
- Kitguru gave it a recommended buy - SFPL tier list as of 4/30/25 gave it a B in their speculative tier list. - 10 Year warranty - Reliable PC case brand with a recent history of decent PSU - Cybenetics platinum - Unique design
I built my first pc with a 9700x and 7900xt. Fired right up. No noise. No issues. I got the non modular because I have a stealth build and nobody sees inside.
