The installation was simple, then I was able to use the Samsung magician software to update the firmware and copy the contents from my old drive to the new one such that I was able to switch the drive order in the bios and instantly use the new drive as my C: system drive. Windows and applications worked just fine.

This is a really fast drive. It's DRAMless but seems to have a good slc cache and also uses HMB. It runs cooland has TLC NAND from YMTC in China and a Maxio 1602a controller which is well regarded in the industry.
