For the price, this enclosure is probably the best, especially since it uses the favorable realtek chip. I'm getting over 1k read and write speeds during crystaldisk Mark, and in real world about 800 mbp/s transfers via 1tb nvme ssd.
I was getting about 750 MB/s transfer speed with this drive Im very happy
Awesome product works as advertised.
- UASP protocol makes it faster and more responsive than similar USB 3.0 units. - Really nice power brick, the nicest I've seen on this type of docking station. - Very solid construction, even the box it comes in is pretty nice. - The LED lights are quite pleasing, especially when transferring data. - Works well for disk to disk transfers, doesn't hang up like the non UASP adapters can.
These are easy to use since you just push the button to open and easy mount the m.2.
IT guy here. Amazing value. Nice packaging, screw driver included, spacers, and a nice heat sink that worked well. I used it to clone my SSD in my new Dell Inspiron 7706 2 in 1 to a larger SSD.
Great deal
Its universal and work just fine for me I used it for cloning my drive
So easy to use
Inexpensive. Simple. It works.
Super simple to swap hard drives in and out (Takes just a couple of seconds). USB 3.0 speeds are good and better if you have a UASP device to connect to.
easy to install disk easy to use fast
Works as advertised, simple and easy to use. Plugged it in and started copying files without any problems. Nothing caught on fire. That's always a concern when buying cheap Chinese made electronics... ;) Lots of love to my squinty eyed friends on the other side of the planet!
Prettiest simple, easy-plug-in play
Easy to install a M.2 hard drive in it. I ran a full image backup on it after installing a drive in it and it was cool the whole 20 minutes it was writing the back up. It does come with a thermal pad which is a bonus.
Tested 2 bay enclosure that comes with everything you need including extra screws and screw drivers that are actually good quality and magnetic. Out of the box it's a 10 min installation to get it up and running. I'm using a mix 4TB Toshiba HDD and 10TB WD Red HDD. Tested with "large" switches toggled on enclosure. -inside enclosure drive to drive transfer speed sustained at 179mb+/second with large video files exceeding 100gb in size -port to port USB-C 3.2 across my PC from an SP A58 SSD 2TB to enclosure with same large video files was sustained and exceeded 210gb+/second I am extremely happy with this enclosure so far and will continue to test it with different RAID config. as well.
Good to update your sata hard disks, either setting up new drives, partitioning, copying files, imaging and things like that. just lift up the plastic cover which is hinged, slide the drive in and once it's set, you just close the cover and hit the on button.
- It feels well build - Easy to install the m.2 drive into, came with all tools needed. - so far had no issues adding the spare m.2 drives I had lying around. Now using them as large USB drives basically. Even using one as a game drive for more space for steam installs. - speed feels decent, don't expect amazing speeds with these as they are limited by USB 3.1
1.Good looking 2.Fast 3.Good price
does everything advertised to the T.
